Question: What do all these websites have in common?

Answer: They're are all fully automated turnkey plug and play internet business in a box!

A typical mini site normally consists of the followings:
  1. Main Sales page.
  2. Autoresponder.
  3. Payment system such as PayPal.
  4. One time offer page.
  5. Download page.
  6. Thank you page.
  7. Acknowledgement page.
  8. Contact Us page.
  9. Privacy page.
  10. Terms and conditions page.
  11. Disclaimer page.
  12. Blog (Optional)
  13. Graphics (Don't overdo it.)
The above pages will either be written in PHP, HTML or both with a dash of javascript and cascading style sheet (css) to add a bit of pizzaz. Graphics are not mandatory. I've seen websites devoid of graphics with high conversions compared to those will flashing graphics with low conversions. We'll keep our graphics to the minimum.

Let's create a fully functional automated turnkey plug and play Internet Business In A Box - Joomla style!

I will be using mattrawk.com as an example for this project. The owner of this domain name has a chronic back problem that is preventing him from having a regular job, so this passive Internet Business should do nicely for him in some way.

Step 1: Getting a domain name and hosting account

Let's kick the project by getting a top level domain name and hosting account first.
(You would want to skip this if you already have a domain name and hosting.)

You could get the domain name and hosting separately or in a package. For cost-saving I would recommend that you get them in a package. However, there are still ways you can save some dough if you decide to get the domain name and hosting separately.

Getting the domain name and hosting in a package:
  1. Both BlueHost and Hostgator come with a FREE domain name for every new hosting account. They have the biggest hosting space available with 300gb and 600gb respectively. You'll have hosting space coming out of your ears with these!
Getting the domain name and hosting separately:
  1. Get your top level domain name from a domain registrar such as NameCheap.com
(Hot Tip: Use this coupon:GOBBLEGOBBLE to get a $0.88 discount)
  2. Get your hosting from BlueHost or Hostgator.
(Hot Tip: Use this Hostgator coupon:SNOWMAN to get a 20% discount)
    (Sorry, no coupons for BlueHost.)
  3. Make sure you point the Domain Name Servers (DNS) in your domain registrar to the correct hosting account address.
    BlueHost DNS are:
    • NS1.BLUEHOST.COM
    • NS2.BLUEHOST.COM
    Hostgator DNS are:
    • NS1.HOSTGATOR.COM
    • NS2.HOSTGATOR.COM

Please give your domain name about 24 to 48 hrs to be accessible on the internet.

Proceed to Step 2: Installing Joomla Content Management System
