In case you were wondering how the 'gurus' add audio to their websites, check out this MP3 audio extension for Joomla!
Here are the steps I took to add the above extension (plug-in). Click the audio to listen to a call-to-action blueprint.
Steps
- Go to Joomla! extensions library.
- Go to Podcasting in the Gallery and Multimedia category.
- Download 1PixelOut Audio player 123a (plugin). Kudos to the developer for the superb plugin. FYI, this audio plugin was ported from WordPress.
- Login to my administrator panel and installed the plugin.
- Go to Mambots section and published the plugin.
- Download a sample audio MP3 file into my MP3 directory.
- Create this article in the contents section and add this simple one-line script.
- Published this article and Voila!
- You have a cool audio plugin to spice up the website.
